Under the previous chef-owner, the Bateaux was wtihout the best restaurant in the area. After selling to a new owner, the food quality stayed the same but the price went way up and the quantity went way down. For example - a bottle of wine that I could buy at CVS for $3.00 (if you wanted to) sold for $20.00 on the menu. I ordered a $25.00 bowl of risotto and got at best, 5 tablespoons. I don't mind paying for excellent food, but this was rediculous.
