Every time I visit Hilton Head (every two to three months) I always look forward to eating at Claude & Uli's. I just had the Alaskan sole this past Monday Oct 12 '09. It was on their early bird menu which, it turns out, is offered the entire evening on Mondays. I love good fish but WOW this was simply extraordinary; served in a light and delicate lemony butter sauce accompanied with perfectly seasoned steamed vegetables all in perfect portion. I can say I have never had fish that was prepared so delectably! I had the brocolli/potato soup before dinner (also delicious with a gorgeous spice balance) and bread pudding for dessert. There really is no reason to eat anywhere else when visiting the Hilton Head area.
