WOW.... The location took my breath away. The outdoor bar was great and fun. The staff was very nice and so were the other hotel guests.

The hotel itself was old and needed some serious renovations, however I would stay there again because of the location. It was affordable so I assume that when they renovate they will charge more for a room.

A favorite for fun-loving college kids and families who want to be in the heart of the action on popular Coligny Beach.. The Scene
The draw lies behind the nondescript building where a large pool, tiki hut bar and beach volleyball nets back up to one of Hilton Head's most popular beaches. In summer months, crowds flock to the pool and beach bar to sip frosty cocktails and listen to live music. Nearby Coligny Plaza offers more than 60 bars, restaurants and shops to keep guests entertained long after the sun goes down.

The Details
Standard rooms are spacious and sufficient. Nicer accommodations include a patio with a pool or ocean view and a pullout couch. In-room amenities include a mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker. In addition to the always-packed tiki bar, the self-sufficient hotel includes an indoor restaurant, casual pool-side dining and a small souvenir shop with T-shirts and postcards of the skippable variety.
