Off Island Thrift is a great store to shop at. I know from personal experience that $500-$1000 CASH goes to support LOCALS with cancer. I know because I've seen, felt, and sent the checks handed out to my family members from Off Island Thrift/ Cancer Awareness Foundation and never once did she ask my family for the money back. NEVER. When my aunt finished her treatment, she sent a letter in advance letting us know that it was a pleasure to assist us and that over the year and a half she gave my aunt over $9,000.00. So thank God that last blogger is a liar who needs to get their story straight because there is no way my aunt would have been able to pay all that money back. Thank you Karen and despite of these mean spirited people out here, I, as well as the others you've helped, appreciate what you have done for my Aunt's family, my cousin, and my neighbor who are all survivors and not scrapping pennies because of you. Thank you??? Thank you??? Thank you ????
