Our family had a delightful dining experience at KingFisher. The food was excellent - I recommend the calamari and fish-n-chips. Our waiter, Michael was friendly and attentive. The manager stopped by several times to check on us and the table side magic of Joseph kept the kids engaged. I would highly recommend the KingFisher to anyone looking for a seafood dining experience in Hilton Head. Here's the test, our 12-year old son wanted to give our waiter a tip from his own wallet.

Impressed once again!. We always visit Kingfisher when we are on the island and this last trip over the holiday weekend was no exception. We were impressed once again!

The server was prompt, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu which was great since they had added some dishes since our last visit. My husband said the she crab soup was the best he had ever had. I followed our server's recommendation and ordered the scallops which were to die for and my husband ordered the filet which was perfectly cooked. We had a very nice bottle of pinot noir that the server recommended. Not only was it certified organic, but it was made by the Chef's sister!

Once again, we were impressed with our experience at Kingfisher and we will definitely be back, sooner rather than later!

Kingfisher incredible remodel. The Kingfisher has finished an incredible remodel, changed management and hired a new 3 time, 4 diamond award winning Chef. Last November 1st the owners of the Kingfisher Restaurant made major changes but raising the prices was not one of them. There are still 15 meals under $15, Early Bird with 3 course meal for $14.95 and the best and longest happy hour on the island. The reviews since Nov 1 on all the websites are 5 star. It will take a little while for the overall average ratings to go up. This is not the same Kingfisher other than the name and the location. You should check the Kingfisher out. YOu will not be disappointed. The Kingfisher is now the finest waterfront dining establishment with live entertainment on Hilton Head Island.

One relaxing evening ..... Excellent calamari appetizer... Wonderful she crab soup .. The fish of the day prepared Greek style was one of the best meals of our vacation. We sat outside and watched the osprey diving for fish ... A very relaxing evening

Excellent Food!. On the cove dining...this is a great place for good seafood. Try any of the fish entries cooked four different ways, your choice. The combo plates are great if you are really hungry. This is one of the best on the Island. All entries come with salad and hot baked bread. Key Lime pie is great for dessert.

Don't waste your time!. This place was unreal! It used to be the best place on Hilton Head Island, but now, it has really gone to the fish! The service was lousy! Our waitress took 10 minutes to get us our drinks 15 more minutes to get our order. When we finally got our food, the steaks we ordered might as well have been used to play hockey with. They were cold, hard, and tasted more like a hamburger from Steak and Shake. A1 sauce couldn't even douse out the horrible taste. We hardly ever got refills on our drinks and never got checked on by our waitress. The restrooms were in bad shape and weren't very clean. Let's not forget the toothless "brochure" man at the front door bugging customers of what they are up to for the week. Not a great way to welcome guests! I do NOT recommend going to this restaurant! They need NEW MANAGEMENT if they want to save this place and make it what it used to be!

Who voted this place best seafood on HHI?. I ate here recently with my wife. What a mistake! The server was very rude, the "fresh" fish was served smelly and cold, and the prices were not that great. I guess that I should have checked these reviews first. The only things that this place has going for it are the view and live music. We won't go back to this place!

not the greatest at all. This is def not the best place on the island. Our waitress was slow..didnt check on us..she seemed she didnt wanna be there and when we got our food the crab i got was overcooked my boyfriends filet was ok but not worth the money..we found other places on the island much better..the one good thing about the place was there was a live comedian going around to the taables telling jokes and stuff.
