had a great time. My husband and I stayed at the Beachwalk Inn for the fourth time and we had a great time. This hotel is very conveniently located to the beach about 3 blocks and near shops and resturants. We enjoyed having a fridge and microwave in the room as we always have leftovers from resturants.

Best value. Beachwalk is probably the best value on Hilton Head. The Hotel is clean, rooms and grounds just updated. Great breakfast. Excellent food and shopping are within walking distance.

No hassles. We used the pool, the shuttle, the putting green, looked at the turtles, and walked around. The kids had fun and we relaxed which was the whole reason for the trip. No hassles! We achieved that and more.

Great. I reserved a two-room suite directly on the hotel's website. It was a ground-floor room with two queen beds in one room that adjoins another room with a small couch (I think it was a pullout, but didn't actually check), a dining room table, and a small kitchenette, complete with two-burner stove and small refrigerator, plus there are two TVs and two small bathrooms. Each room has an entry door, and there are doors between the two rooms. Be aware, though, that the key they provide at check-in will only open one of the entry doors, so if one of the inside doors happens to get closed, you can find yourself locked out of one side of your room; then you will have to go ask for a key to the other side of your room (yeah, it happened to us...). Great!

Super friendly. I knew thanks to some of the other reviews that it was a few minutes walk to the beach, but it really was not bad at all - five or ten minutes, max. The location is within walking distance to a lot or restaurants, shops, and even a grocery store. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Oh, and they do serve a pretty good free breakfast: waffles, bagels, yogurt, cereal, juice, milk.

Fantastic. The front desk was very attentive to our needs. We had a couple different people working at the front desk, but the one who stood out the most was Mark. He was very friendly and made sure we had a memorable stay. We left our video camera in our room after leaving the hotel. Housekeeping found it and gave it to the general manager carefully wrapped it and sent it back to us. The camera has footage of years of our childeren growing up that could never be replaced. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and bring my children to stay for a family vacation. The free shuttle service to the shops and beach where fantastic!

We would stay again. After spending one night at a different hotel last year, my husband and I decided to stay at the Beachwalk Hotel this year. The hotel seemed pretty clean, the bathroom was small (just enough room for the toilet and tub w/ shower), & staff members were friendly. We reserved a basic non-smoking room, but were give an upgrade to a room with refrigerator, stove top, microwave. Even though we did not need this for our one night stay, it was appreciated. There is a free continental breakfast in the morning (waffles, fruit, cereal, bagels, etc). This hotel overall is not bad for the price that you pay!! We would stay again!
