Another Great Dinner.
We really enjoyed the Bluffton Truffles, so we made the journey to the Truffles on Hilton Head. We were delighted to find the same courteous service and a also a completely different but really neat atmosphere. We shared a smoked salmon appetizer and the french onion soup. Both were delicious although the onion soup could have been a little hotter. I ordered the grilled halibut with basil glaze and my date ordered the chicken pie with puff pastry. We enjoyed both. For dessert we split the key lime pie (cool, tart and sweet, it reminded me of the one my grandmother would make whenever we visited Miami). The lights were a little low the night we visited but overall we really enjoyed it.

Don't let the name fool you..
Don't let the name fool you. I expected a french cafe and got a bad Tgi Fridays instead. The white table clothes are misleading. There is nothing "fine" about this dining. Crowded in the summer, be prepared to be seated next to screaming children. The wait staff appeared to be college kids who were clueless. The wine list is small and overpriced. My meal tasted like a microwave dinner. This place specializes in serving up disappointment. Don't waste your money when Hilton Head has so many better choices.
