Overpriced Item. I purchased "The Elf on the Shelf" ...I assumed that the $39.95 price was with a 30% discount since it was displayed on a shelf marked "30% off." After the transaction had been performed and I realized I did not get the discount...I questioned the sales assistant whose response was "that item was not included." That same day at a children's shop several miles away I saw the same item for $29.95 ($10 cheaper!) Upon returning to Upstate New York I found the item at Hallmark, Borders, and the RSH catalog for $29.95 also. I noticed "No Returns" on the sales receipt.

On my future visits to Hilton Head I will never return to this store..I prefer not to do business in this manner!
